Society of Women Engineers

Dear visitors,

Today the “Spotlight” is on the Society of Women Engineers from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón. Their mission is to empower the youth to reach their maximum potential through their collegiate education and develop skills that will prepare them to be future leaders. Additionally, they want to expand the image of professionals in STEM and view their differences as a strength to lead them toward a better quality of life and demonstrate the value of inclusion and diversity. The current president Lizmairy Castillo Polanco shared that the vision of the organization is to spark women’s interest in the STEM field and dismantle stereotypes.
