Mujeres en la Ciencia

Dear visitors,

Today the “Spotlight” is on “Mujeres en la Ciencia”, which directly translates to Women in Science at the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras campus. This alliance is directed by Andrea Natalia Rivera Rosario, Adriana Nicolle Vélez Avilés, and Cayetana Lazcano Etchebarne. Their vision is to make women visible in order to learn about each other, empower them to understand one another and educate them to free themselves. They will share their personal goals in science, how this initiative came to be, what they have been able to achieve, and what they look forward to accomplishing in their academic institution.
